Transcat's product portfolio for Product Data Quality and Process Compliance includes standard integrations to Product Data Management and Data Exchange. Q-PLM allows to automatically implement Q-Checker in the PLM processes with minimal effort. Q-PLM PDM and Q-PLM DX work in a generic way with any system, while Q-PLM ENOVIA SmarTeam offers a deeper integration to SmarTeam already. Currently in the development is the new standard solution for MatrixOne:

Q-PLM solutions are compatible with upcoming releases of CATIA and Q-Checker. Combined with Q-Monitor's statistical results, Q-PLM helps to establish a continuous enhancement process for engineering data quality based on assessments at significant process steps.

To start with Q-Checker, customers need a profile with useful checks for their PLM process. Transcat learned from many of their clients the most common checks valid for all industries. These checks are made available in a Generic Check Profile, supporting  CATProducts, CATParts, for Part and Sheetmetal Design as well as CATDrawings

With Q-Checker 2.9.3 Transcat PLM offers a new generic check profile for download.

Transcat PLM expects many of its 1.500 Q-Checker customers to roll out CATIA V5 R19 in the 2nd half of 2009. Even though previous releases of Q-Checker already supported R19, Transcat recommends to use 2.9. This version will be used by OEMs that are currently preparing the R19 roll out.
Q-Checker 2.9 supports the requirements for the common car maker’s standards for the CATIA start model, delivers the best performance with 64Bit and offers an important improvement regarding CATDUA. In the past CATDUA required a CATIA model on the file system, but with Q-Checker 2.9 CATDUA will run successfully with the model in session.
